About Our Facility

Howling Woods Farm is open to visitors by appointment only. You may visit us by appointment on weekends, and weekday afternoons. Before contacting, please check our schedule to make sure we are open on the day you wish to visit.

For appointments, please call (609) 901-1387 between the hours of 10am and 4pm Monday through Friday. Calls made on weekends will not be answered, any messages will be returned the following weeks. We do not book appointments by email, text or messenger. At this current time, even though we ask for your email, we will NOT be sending any confirmation nor any other emails to you. Thank you for understanding.

While we do not charge a specific fee, we do request a minimum donation of $30 per adult and $15 per child 10-12 years old, to help with our costs for feeding and maintaining our animals & facility.

We accept credit cards, cash or check. Howling Woods Farm is a non-profit public charity, and unlike most public charities our officers and directors receive no salary.

What You Need to Know and Bring

  • Only children 10 years and older may visit the farm.
  • Adults are responsible for the behavior of their children and are expected to keep them close by at all times.
  • No running and/or screaming/loud noises are allowed inside the pens.
  • Adults entering the wolfdog enclosure must sign a hold harmless release agreement.
  • Please let us know in advance if a member of your group has any medical accessories or external devices on their person.
  • Anyone under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign a release on their behalf.
  • We do not offer tours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • We offer tours only one day each weekend.
  • Tours last one hour
  • You will be able to interact and take photos with the animals.
  • You’re welcome to bring your camera.
  • Make sure to wear appropriate clothing.
  • We ask a minimum $30 donation per person 13 and older, $15 for 10–12-year-olds.
  • We require a 50% deposit for parties of five people or more.
    • If you’ve made a deposit and need to reschedule, we need AT LEAST 48 hours in order to transfer the deposit to another date.
    • If you’ve made a deposit and need to cancel, we need AT LEAST 48 hours in order to refund the deposit.
    • If you’ve made a deposit and need to reduce the number of people in your party, we need AT LEAST 48 hours in order to adjust the balance owed on the day of your tour.

DO NOT WEAR:

  • Any animal products
  • Wool (sweaters, etc.)
  • Real or imitation fur
  • Down or ‘puffy’ jackets
  • Leather (leather shoes are permitted)
  • Loose flowing clothing
  • Strong perfumes or cologne
  • Any apparel that has attachments which dangle, or any objects that dangle.
  • Anything with odor in your pockets (gum, cigarettes, candy, etc)
  • Open toed footwear or heels.
  • Make sure everyone in your party is aware of these requirements, or they will not be allowed to go inside the pens.
