Sayen is a rescue that came to us in 2020 from Connecticut. He was said to be around a year old when he came to us. We were Sayen’s last hope to being rescued and with us having room at the time, we took him in. He is a mid-content wolf dog at around 66% wolf! His name means sweet in Mapuche and that he is! Sayen can often be met by our guests alongside Jack during our educational tours. He currently resides with his much older pen mate Winona who is often heard howling for him to come back while he is out on a tour. Sayen hops like a rabbit and or kangaroo before being fed which has granted him the nickname (Roo).
