Jack is a high content wolf dog that was rescued by a loving family in upstate New York. He came to us at just under a year old in 2019 after being found abandoned and tied to a tree in a park ranger’s yard. New York being a very illegal state for wolf dogs he made his way to us and has been a great addition to our facility! Jack has a jaw deformity, which is called a malocclusion. Malocclusion can be defined as the abnormal positioning of teeth. This is Jack’s main defining trait and a result of poor breeding. Jack resides with Lyra and can often be seen on our educational tours with her. He can be seen exhibiting typical aloof behavior but occasionally gives some guests his version of a greeting (jumping up on them to say hello) He is a fan favorite!
